Who Carries the Kids’ Stuff on a Family Outing?

Babies and toddlers require a lot of ‘stuff’ when you go out and about as a family. (Think: Fetsivals, amusement parks, fairs, the airport) Bigger kids require less ‘stuff’. At what age did your kids start carrying their own stuff like water bottles, sunglasses etc.?

Jess thought she needed to get a backpack for the summer to carry her kids’ stuff but George had a better idea.  Collapsible water bottles and fanny packs for each of them.  A great way for to empower them to be responsible for their own stuff and decide what is important.

Stay tuned to find out how the kids do with this arrangement (and how Jess does not be needed as much).
