(Mankato, MN) – An Elysian woman was injured when her vehicle collided with a semi in Nicollet County.

Teresa Lynn Daninger, 70, was taken to St. Mary’s Hospital with non-life threatening injuries following the crash at 10 a.m. Monday, according to the state patrol.

Daninger was westbound on Fort Road in a Ford Edge and stopped at Highway 111.  Witnesses say that as she proceeded through the intersection, the Edge was struck by a Kenworth Semi that was southbound on Highway 111.

The Ford was struck on the passenger side front door by the semi, which was driven by Ronald Theodore Dietz, 57, of Gaylord.  Dietz received non-life threatening injuries but declined medical treatment.
