Tornadoes touched down in West Central Wisconsin last evening, leveling a mobile home park in the town of Chetek and leaving a path as it continued through Barron County.

Sheriff Chris Fitzgerald reported one person was killed by the storm and at least 25 others were injured in the area between Chetek and Cameron, Wisconsin. Emergency crews are searching the area for any other victims.

The Barron County mobile home community is known as Prairie Lakes Estates.

Expect the heavy rain we have been anticipating to roll through the Mankato area and Southern Minnesota this morning and afternoon.
