Steele County Still Advising NO TRAVEL

It looks like it will require the remainder of the day due to having to clear stranded vehicles.

STEELE COUNTY ADVISES NO TRAVEL
Even though blizzard conditions have subsided, travel is not advised on Steele County roads. Many Steele County roads are closed, still blocked with snow drifts and stuck vehicles. These closed roads also include designated alternate I-35 routes. The Minnesota Department has I-35 currently closed south of Owatonna.
The stuck vehicles are impeding snow clearing efforts. The department’s plow crews are working to open roads as soon as possible, but will likely take the remainder of the day.
