(Mankato, MN) – Mankato’s DQ West makes helping children something sweet.

The historic ice cream shop in downtown Mankato is taking part in its 14th Annual DQ Miracle Treat Day on Thursday, July 25th.

For every Blizzard Treat sold Thursday, DQ will donate $1 to the Mankato Clinic Wickersham Children’s Health Center.

“We do this to help save and improve the lives of children locally.  These families need our support and together we can make a difference,” said operator JoRae Galli.

Pre-orders are encouraged for larger pick-up orders and will be accepted through Wednesday, July 24th via drop off, fax, or phone, at (507) 388-6451.  Order forms can be found on DQ West’s Facebook page.

Last year, Dairy Queen operators across the U.S. and Canada combined to raise more than $4 million on Miracle Treat Day for their local hospitals.
