Mankato Man Finds Class Ring Missing For 60 Years And Then Finds The Owner.

A Mankato man is being recognized for finding a woman’s class ring this summer after it had been lost some 60 years ago.

The ring that was found by Greg Dembouski is featured in the latest issue of “Discover,” which is a national publication from metal detector company White’s Electronics.

Dembouski found the ring in Clear Lake in Waseca in July and tracked down the owner Barbara Lechner Crumb and brought it t her. Crumb had lost the class ring while swimming in the lake in 1957.

Upon the ring’s return, Crumb had high praise for Greg and Shelly Dembouski, saying they proved that there are still caring people in this world and “my words are not enough to let this couple know my true appreciation.”
