(Madison Lake, MN) –  A tiny lakeside town will swell in size this week as folks turn out for Paddlefish Days.

Madison Lake will kick off their annual summer celebration Wednesday night at 7 p.m. with the Queen Coronation.

Thursday evening will include burger specials and live music, with a golf cart roll in at Stoufers.

Family activities pick up on Friday, July 26th, as the Kiddie Parade travels down Main Street and a cribbage tournament gets underway.  A foam and a patio party will take place later in the evening.

On Saturday, July 27th, a fishing contest will start the day, with a 5K race running consecutively.  Food vendors will be dishing up vittles throughout the day, with the grand parade starting at noon and the Kiss a Fish contest following later in the afternoon. A street dance will take the crowd into the midnight hour.

The Paddlefish Days softball tournament will finish up on the event’s final day, Sunday, July 28th, with live music wrapping up the year’s festivities in the afternoon at the Landing on Madison.
