Hector Woman Injured In Crash With Semi

(Marshall, MN) – A Hector woman was injured this morning in Renville County following a crash with a semi.

Alissa Charah Snook, 26, of Hector was traveling east on Highway 212 near 530th Street in Buffalo Lake at 7:39 a.m. when the 2011 Ford Edge she was driving was struck by a westbound semi that had crossed over the center line.  The semi, a 2017 Mack Tractor, went into the south ditch where it rolled and came to rest on its side.

The semi was driven by Todd Alan Ewert, 51, of Stewart.  Ewert didn’t suffer any injuries in the crash.

The Ford Snook was driving also came to rest in the south ditch.  Snook was transported to a Hutchinson hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
