Go Fund Me started for family of deceased Madelia teen

(Madelia, MN) – A Go Fund Me page has been created to help the family of a Madelia teen who died on Sunday.

The page identifies the deceased 17-year-old as Johnny David Godoy Ramos, and indicates he died “due to a tragic accident. Ramos was found unresponsive at a home in Madelia Sunday morning. He was rushed to a hospital but pronounced dead.

Both of Ramos’ parents live in Honduras, according to the online fundraising page. The money raised from the campaign will go towards sending his body there for burial.

The Go Fund Me page describes Ramos was an athletic kid who was full of life and loved soccer.

Containers for cash donations will also be placed around Madelia.
