Expanded Aldi Sets Grand Reopening Date.

A Grand Reopening date has now been set for the ALDI grocery store on Madison Avenue in Mankato.

Division Vice President for ALDI Matt Lilla says it’ll be held on Tuesday, September 26th. “In addition to attending our ribbon-cutting ceremony the morning of the Grand Reopening, customers can also enter an on-site sweepstakes for the chance to win ALDI prizes,” said Lilla.

Other festivities are expected that day as well, but officials are still working out those details.

The Mankato ALDI has been closed since August 7th for remodeling and the expanded space will include a larger selection of fresh products, along with more baby items, organics and gluten-free foods.

“The remodeled Mankato store will have five aisles and about 12,500 square feet of selling space, compared to the store’s current layout, which features four aisles and 10,000 square feet of selling space,” said Lilla.
