Drugs Task Force Takes 7 Pounds Of Meth Out Of Circulation With New Ulm Bust
(New Ulm, MN) – Two people are charged after a pair warrant searches in New Ulm netted approximately $250,000 in methamphetamine
Stephanie Kay Tisdell, 43, and Zachariah Scott Tisdell, 35, were each charged with two counts of 1st-degree drug sales 1st-degree possession of a controlled substance while in possession of a firearm, and 1st-degree drug possession after a warrant execution by the Brown/Lyon/Redwood/Renville Drug Task Force.
Agents searched a New Ulm residence on January 19 and found various packages equaling approximately a half pound of meth located throughout the home. Also discovered were 46 Trazodone pills, 6 unknown pills, a powdery white substance weighing 1.6 grams, and 1.1 grams of a dark-colored substance, a .22 caliber rifle and a loaded 9mm handgun.
On Thursday, January 28, Stephanie Tisdell was arrested on an outstanding warrant, and a second search was performed by drug force task agents. Approximately 6 1/2 pounds of meth was found, along with paraphernalia used for selling or using meth. Stephanie was charged additionally with 1st-degree drug sales and 1st-degree drug possession,
Roughly 7 pounds of meth was seized between the two busts. The street value is over $250,000, according to a release by the drug task force.
Both suspects are also charged with 5th-degree drug possession.
