Crispy Taco Cups
Looking for something super easy to make for game day or a holiday get-together? I was tasked with bringing an appetizer to a family gathering this weekend and I knew these crispy taco cups would be perfect! You can make them with 5 simple ingredients in around 20 minutes!
Makes 36 mini taco cups.
What you need:
1 lb. of ground beef (turkey works too!)
1 can of diced tomatoes with green chilis
1 packet of taco seasoning
1 1/2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese
Wonton wrappers
What you do:
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Brown and drain the meat, stir in entire can of tomatoes and packet of seasoning. Mix in about 1/4 cup of shredded cheese and stir until melted.
Generously coat a mini muffin pan with non-stick spray. Put wonton wrappers in the muffin pan to make a shell for the meat. Put a spoonful of meat into each cup and top with shredded cheese. Bake for 10-12 minutes until shells are browned and cheese is melted.
Mix it up:
Serve as is or add sour cream, salsa, chives, black olives, cilantro or your favorite taco sauce!
