(Albert Lea, MN) – An Albert Lea man is facing criminal charges under accusations that he repeatedly raped two young girls known to him.
Juan Eduardo Rodriguez Morales, 38, was charged Wednesday in Freeborn County Court with ten counts of first and second-degree criminal sexual conduct.
According to the criminal complaint, a 15-year-old girl told police that Rodriguez Morales had begun sexually abusing her when she was about 10-years-old, with the most recent incident occurring on July 4th. The victim reported “inappropriate touching, vaginal penile penetration, anal penile penetration, and oral penetration,” according to the complaint. She told investigators that Rodriguez Morales also rapes her younger sister, and on one occasion raped them both.
Her younger sister, 11-years-old, told police the rapes started when she was 9 or 10-years-old.
Rodriguez Morales would bribe the older sister with money when she told him no, according to the complaint. He reportedly would commit the rapes while her mother left the house, was sleeping, or was outside.
Court documents say the 15-year-old victim confided in her mother after the most recent incident, who confronted Rodriguez Morales. He denied the accusations, the mother said in a police interview.
