79-Year-Old Man Hospitalized After Highway 22 Crash With Dump Truck

Failure to call 911 for a resident has figured in a South Florida facility’s fine.

A 79-year-old man from Le Sueur was hospitalized Wednesday after a crash on Highway 22 south of Kasota.

The State Patrol says Norman Daryl Blair was northbound on 22 when his minivan rear-ended a dump truck that was waiting to turn left onto 470th street.

Blair was taken to Rivers Edge Hospital in St. Peter for evaluation. The truck driver, 51-year-old Michele Ann Anderson of Burnsville, was not hurt.
Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
