The Minnesota Department of Health has reported 3 new cases of the measles in Minnesota, all being discovered at what they believe to be the origin, Hennepin County. The breakdown of where is listed below from their website.

      • 63 total cases
      • 53 in Hennepin County
      • 4 in Ramsey County
      • 4 in Crow Wing County
      • 2 in Le Sueur County

 

    • Vaccination status:
      • 60 confirmed to be unvaccinated
      • 1 had 1 dose of MMR
      • 2 had 2 doses of MMR

 

    • Age:
      • 60 in children (ages 0-17 years)
      • 3 cases in adults

 

  • 53 of the cases are Somali Minnesotan
