Garbanzo Mediterranean Fresh has opened its first restaurant in Minnesota and it’s located in the Centennial Student Union at MSU Mankato.

“We are excited to welcome everyone back to campus with a brand new dining option that’s healthy and delicious,” said General Manager Kari Doffing. “At Garbanzo, we serve up love in every pita so our guests can feel brighter on the inside. We only use fresh, authentic ingredients and Old World recipes, which is why every dish we serve is so flavorful.”

In addition to serving students, faculty and visitors on site, Garbanzo also offers catering.

A grand opening celebration will be held on Wednesday, September 6th, with samples, prizes and the Maverick pep-band.

The Garbanzo at MSU Mankato will be open Monday through Thursday from 10:30am to 7pm and Friday from 10:30am to 3pm.
