Two Teens involved in Madelia burglary case have reached plea agreements. Sentencing is set.

Two teens have now reached a plea agreement in the case that led to the shooting death of another in January.

Kyle Thomas Nason entered an Alford plea to one count of 2nd degree burglary, first degree burglary was dismissed.

Nason, Cornelius Ayers Jr. and Nicolas Embertson were shot at while fleeing the scene of an attempted home invasion in January.

19-year-old Nicolas Embertson died from his injuries.

Cornelius Ayers Jr.  had already entered a guilty plea to the lesser of two burglary charges he faces.
Sentencing for both is set for June 13th.
