Nate is forecast to make landfall somewhere between Louisiana and Florida, Sunday. It is still too soon to tell where it will actually hit the United States. The difficulty in Nate’s forecast track is tougher than normal.

Most forecast also suggests this landfall will most likely be as a low-end hurricane, but it’s a tough call because intensity forecasts are notoriously tricky this far out in time and are likely to change according to forecasters.
