St Peter Man Hospitalized After Motorcycle Crash Last Night

A 23-year-old man from St. Peter was hospitalized after crashing his motorcycle around 7:00 Sunday night.

The State Patrol says Ryan Joel Potz was on Highway 14 about a mile west of Courtland when he lost control of his motorcycle and went into the ditch.

Potz, who was wearing a helmet, was taken to the New Ulm Hospital. His injuries are not considered life threatening.

Assisting the State Patrol at the scene were the Nicollet County Sheriff’s Office, Courtland Fire & Rescue and Allina Ambulance.

There was also a motorcycle vs. deer crash Sunday in Redwood County that left a man hospitalized.
