A Splash Pad Could Be In Mankato’s Future

IMG SRC: YMCA MANATO

At last night’s Mankato City Council meeting a feasibility report was presented regarding Phase I of potential improvements to Tourtelloutte Pool.  The $6.5 million dollars of upgrades would include water slides, a raft ride, a zero-entry pool and yes, a splash pad.  City Manager Pat Hentges tells The Mankato Free Press that the expansion is in the initial stages and substantial input is needed from the community before the council can decide if and when to move forward.

Would you like to see this expansion happen?
