Sibley County Sheriff: Teen Arrested Driving Stolen Tractor Through Town


Criminal charges are pending against an 18-year-old man from New Auburn, who allegedly took a tractor on a joy ride.

The Sibley County Sheriff’s Office says it received a report of a stolen John Deere 9400 tractor around 9pm on August 24th. Responding deputies located the tractor making its way through the town of New Auburn and eventually got the driver to pull over.

The driver Dakota Diaz Jacobson was placed under arrest and is expected to be charged with a felony count of theft.
