Second Muskie Attack Reported In Northern Minnesota

Wendy Haldorson’s daughter was just dangling her feet off the dock….they believe it may have been the ankle bracelet, but something caught the fish’s eye.

This isn’t the first such incident this summer. If you recall, we told you a story earlier this summer of an 11 year old girl who was dangling her feet from a paddle board that was attacked and required stitches.

Island Lake it located just north of Duluth, MN, and is regularly stocked with fingerling muskie.

Many of the big lakes in Northern Minnesota are destinations for anglers from all over the country seeking the elusive trophy Norther Pike and Muskie.
