REASON ALLIANCE APPLIES TO ERECT SATANIC SYMBOL IN BELLE PLAIN PARK

Reason Alliance, the Temple’s nonprofit fundraising arm, said it filed an application to erect a memorial to honor nonreligious service members.

If you recall, we talked about Belle Plain’s fight to save the memorial of a soldier kneeling and honoring his fallen comrades at a Cross in a public park. It started a nationwide debate and ultimately the the memorial was restored.

The fight was not over. The Satanic Temple chose to test the resolve of the predominately Christian community, asking to erect their own monument in the park.

Do you feel like the Freedom From Religion Foundation and the Satanic Temple are preying on small towns that lack the ability and resource to fight back?
