Profinium Uses Crash Through Their Own Building To Promote Insurance

Mankato, MN) – Most have likely noticed that the giant glass panels on the Profinium building that were smashed last year have now been replaced and covered with photo images, but if you look closely, you’ll notice that the company is poking a little fun at the incident.

A photo of the SUV that crashed through the glass is now featured on the building, under the heading of “Insurance.”

It was December 29th when 22-year-old Kyle Skellenger drove his SUV through the glass panels of the building, got out of the vehicle, grabbed a woman by the hair and tried to punch her, and then gave a “bear-hug” to a man on the scene.

Police say he also grabbed the throat of a responding officer and tried to choke him.

Police say Skellenger told them that he had taken LSD while at home, but had no memory of driving the vehicle or smashing into the building. Skellenger was sentenced to one year probation and ordered to pay nearly $1,000 in fines and fees.

How much Skellenger will have to pay in restitution for repairs still has not been officially ordered through the courts, as a hearing on that issue, which was scheduled for August 29th, was postponed and has not yet been rescheduled.
