Owatonna Man Gets Wallet Stolen By Prostitute He Hires, Then Calls Police.

A 63-year-old Owatonna man is facing criminal charges after calling police to report that a woman that he had paid for sex stole his wallet and used his credit card.

Daniel Paul Moller is charged with prostitution, while 41-year-old Tawna Maria Johnson is charge with theft, credit card fraud, drug possession and prostitution in a public place.

According to the complaint, Moller approached Johnson at local liquor store May 27th and told her that he “wanted a date.” They then left the store and went to a parking lot where Johnson gave Moller sexual favors in his car in exchange for $40. After Johnson got out of the car, Moller said he discovered that his wallet was missing and he called police.

When  police found and arrested Johnson, they say she was searched, and they found Moller’s wallet along with methamphetamine, marijuana and pipes.

Moller was then called to the Law Enforcement Center to give another statement. He indeed did, and while there he was able to positively identify his wallet…and then was placed under arrest.
