It looks like the people have spoken, and the city has listened. The city of North Mankato is looking to spend upwards of 2 million dollars to upgrade Spring Lake Park into a full blown water park aimed to entertain younger resident.

The upgrades could happen over the next year or so and will include things likeĀ a zip line, several 10- to 12-feet slides, in-pool basketball hoops and volleyball nets, and a rock-climbing wall…and last but not least, a 30 to 35 foot water slide.

What a great addition to North Mankato and the surrounding community! We can’t wait!
