Mankato Woman Hospitalized After Fiery Collision With Semi….

A 66-year-old woman from Mankato was hospitalized Thursday afternoon after a crash between her SUV and a semi.

The State Patrol says Theresa Louise Kruse was on Interstate 494 in Bloomington at Highway 169 when she made “an unsafe change of course” and was stuck by a semi. The semi, which was hauling air conditioners, rolled onto its side and started on fire.

Kruse was taken to Hennepin County Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries. The truck driver, 34-year-old Asamoah Poku of Antioch, Tennessee, was also taken to HCMC for treatment.

Three other vehicles were involved as well, but none of their drivers were injured. The roadway wasn’t fully reopened after the crash for over 7 hours.
