Mankato Flasher Back In Business This Weekend….

A 49-year-old Mankato man with a long history of indecent exposure is facing new charges for allegedly doing the same once again.

In addition to one count of indecent exposure, David Martin Johnson is also charged with disorderly conduct and obstructing the legal process.

Police were called to the area of Broad Street and East Main early Saturday (June 17) by a woman who was out walking her dog and reported that Johnson was wearing a jacket and shoes but no pants or underwear. The woman said Johnson would lift his jacket and expose himself as people walked by.

According to the complaint, responding officers were able to chase him down and place him under arrest, although restraints had to be used as police say Johnson was resisting, violent and tried to grab one of their guns.
Johnson has several previous convictions for indecent exposure from Freeborn County and is currently on diversion in Blue Earth County for indecent exposure and other offenses.
