Are your kids getting enough sleep? This chart might help!

Bedtime… every parent’s favorite part of the day (or is that just us?!)  A Wisconsin teacher shared this chart with her students’ parents to help them determine what time their kids should be going to bed.  Some parents were shocked at how early the chart suggested their kids should be in bed!  However, the journal Pediatrics suggests that poor sleep in children under 7 can lead to weight gain as well as general negative effects on social, emotional and physical health.  Nighttime routines can be difficult, especially with evening activities and working families!  Do your kids get enough sleep?
