Father And 10 Year Old Daughter Drown After Being Swept Out From Shores Of Lake Superior

Tragedy struck the shore of Lake Superior on Thursday afternoon as a father and his 10 year old daughter were swept away from shore by dangerous currents that prompted warnings from the fire department.

The missing girl was found shortly after 5 p.m., and her father  just after 6. Authorities believe she had been in the water for about and hour, her father closer to an hour and a half.

Identities have not yet been release but authorities have said they were from Wisconsin.
