Fall Lover? DNR Says Colors Will be ‘Near Perfect’ This Year

Are you a lover of all things fall?  Get your leaf-looking gear ready because the DNR says fall colors this year could be ‘near perfect’.  Adequate rainfall across the state this summer combined with lots of summer sun point to a beautiful fall season.

There’s definitely a tint of color starting to develop on the tree lines locally.  If it seems a bit early for that, it is.  The DNR says warm days and chilly nights cause an earlier than usual color change and our area of the state could see peak color a littler sooner than normal this year.

Want to make the most of the beautiful colors this season?  Check out the DNR’s Fall Color Finder here.
