Eight Arrested In New Ulm Juvenile Prostitution Sting


Eight men are behind bars today after the area’s latest prostitution sting, this one taking place in New Ulm, targeting those seeking sex with underage girls.

Two of the suspects were booked into the Brown County Jail on Friday and the other six men were booked into the jail on Saturday.

The suspects have been identified as Jordan Michael Brown, age 26; Lawrence David Depyper, age 70; Joshua Theodore Lippert, age 38; Paul Raymond Lund Jr, age 46: Shane Allen Madson, age 20; Pedro Mayoral-Gomez, age 36; Franklin Aman Pineda Solares, age 24; and James Robert Wallace, age 39.

All are awaiting a court hearing with an expected charge of agreeing to hire a minor to engage in prostitution – age 16 or 17.

With these latest arrests, around 100 people have now been nabbed in prostitution stings in Brown, Blue Earth and Nicollet counties over the last two-plus years. The connections between the undercover police and suspects have been made via websites like Backpage.com and Craigslist.
