Crash On Highway 60 In Lake Crystal, Madelia Woman Suffers Life Threatening Injuries

A crash on Highway 60 in Lake Crystal Friday night left three people hospitalized, including a Madelia woman who suffered life threatening injuries.

The State Patrol says 58-year-old Janet Lou Todd was turning left onto Highway 60 west around 7:30pm when her van collided with a car that was eastbound on the highway.

Todd was taken to MCHS Hospital Mankato with injuries that the State Patrol says are life threatening.

There were five people in the car. The driver, 27-year-old Lomi Haji Elemo, and passenger, 28-year-old Kemso Aman Sheba, were both taken to MCHS with non-life threatening injuries. They are from Sioux City, Iowa.

There were also three children in the car, ages 8, 8 and 9. They were not injured.
