Combine And SUV Collide Just West Of Mankato Last Night

A 52-year-old man was hospitalized after his SUV collided with a combine just after 10:00 Sunday night west of Mankato.

The State Patrol says Gregory Leroy Hauswirth of Spencer, Iowa, was traveling westbound on Highway 60 when a combine pulled out in front of his SUV at County Road 114. The SUV hit the front of the combine and rolled.

Hauswirth was taken to MCHS Mankato with non-life threatening injuries.

The driver of the combine, 57-year-old Mario Alberto Zavala of Donna, Texas, was not hurt.
