71 Year Old Man Decides To Deal With Noise Issue Himself

71-year-old Mankato man apparently had all he could stand of his noisy upstairs neighbor.

Mankato police say they were called by a man on June 27th who reported that his downstairs neighbor Edward John Abdo had come to his place to complain about the noise and then punched him five times, including on blow that connected with his face.

Police say Abdo claimed the victim had come at him, but admitted that he punched him about five times. Police say Abdo told them that the victim has people over all the time and they’re very loud throughout the day and night.

Abdo was advised that next time he should call law enforcement, but police say Abdo was not receptive to that suggestion, saying he’ll deal with it himself.
