A motorcycle driver is getting the 15 minutes of fame that he’s been after, but it comes with a cost. That being a fine for reckless driving.
The Minnesota State Patrol says a motorist called 911 to report the rider on Highway 101 earlier this summer. The motorist was concerned about the person’s vision being obstructed and worried because the rider was weaving through traffic and riding no-handed.
The bike exited the freeway before a trooper could locate it.
Fast forward to August 31st. Dispatchers observed the same rider on traffic cameras on I-394. Troopers were able to pull over the driver, who told them he wanted his riding videos to go “viral.”
The driver was cited for reckless driving and the panda head was confiscated.
And for those wondering, the State Patrol says even if it was Halloween, riding a motorcycle while wearing a giant panda head would not be okay or legal.
