A 20-year-old man from New Ulm has been sentenced for the rape of a teenage girl.
Xavier Michael Eaton was given 90 days in jail and 15 years probation after pleading guilty to criminal sexual conduct in the third degree. He was also fined $1,000 and will have to register as a predatory offender.
According to the complaint, Eaton and the girl, whom he was dating, were at his residence in New Ulm on April 26th, 2016, when he told her that he wanted to have sex. She told him “no” more than 10 times and tried to push him off, but Eaton forced himself on her.
The girl, who was between 13 and 15 years old, told investigators that the act was painful – and police say she was visibly shaken when she relayed the story to them.
