2 Year Old Boy Severely Injured After Being Run Over By Riding Lawn Mower

A 2-year-old boy is in the hospital with a severe leg injury after being accidentally run over by a riding lawnmower being driven by his father.

According to the Morrison County Sheriff’s office it happened at a home in Great River Road in Swan River Township on Tuesday in the early evening. The boy was then airlifted to North Memorial Hospital.

The child was riding on the back of the zero-turn mower, which his 32-year-old father was operating, when he fell off as his dad made a turn.

The blades were engaged at the time of the incident.
