Police Identify Body Pulled From Water.


Authorities have identified the body found in Lake Minnetonka Thursday afternoon, a day after an abandoned sailboat was found in the water.

The Hennepin County Medical Examiner today identified him as 65-year-old David Charles Carlson of Blaine.

According to the examiner, he was injured sometime Wednesday, and he died Thursday around 2:30 p.m. – an hour and a half before his body was pulled from the water.

The search began after the reported empty sailboat was found adrift.
