13 Year Old Accused Of Wreaking Havoc With Mankato Harley-Davidson Vandalism Spree

A 13-year-old boy is accused of breaking into the Harley Davidson shop in Mankato and going on a spree of vandalism.

Police say the boy got into the shop around 10:30 Wednesday night by breaking a showroom window. Once inside, the boy damaged and knocked over seven motorcycles. He also smashed out the windows on two of the businesses’ trucks.

Staff at the Harley Davidson says they’re still working on an estimate for the total damages caused by the boy.

Police arrested him as he was running from the scene on the trail that stretches along the Minnesota River.

He was taken to a juvenile detention center in Rochester. His identity is being withheld due to his age.
